The Laxmi Niwas Palace, a magnificent Indo-Saracenic structure in Bikaner, was the focus of a conservation strategy aimed at sustaining its use as a heritage hotel. The project involved assessing the palace’s historic fabric, identifying areas of deterioration, and proposing conservation and maintenance guidelines. Special emphasis was placed on safeguarding the palace’s rich decorative elements, stone façades, and interiors while ensuring that modern amenities could be integrated discreetly.
