The project at Mahidpur Fort aimed at conserving and reviving one of the lesser-known historic forts of Madhya Pradesh. Strategically located, the fort has witnessed significant historical events yet had fallen into disrepair due to neglect and encroachment. The conservation initiative involved detailed documentation, condition assessment, and preparation of a phased conservation plan. The approach focused on stabilizing the fort’s deteriorating structures, safeguarding its cultural landscape, and re-establishing its relevance as a community asset.
