Dedicated to Ajay Bhaiya ki Coffee

From the 11:am coffee to 4: pm chai, the last two months at Jugaadopolis were all about stories, laughs, gazals, and endless reading sessions. The project not only helped me delve into South Asian history, but also exposed me to multiple nuances of our history I had always been unaware of.The office culture was the coolest, with the most lovely set of people, making the internship experience worthy of more than a CV addition. The brainstorming session with the team made the project a work of layered omissions, edits, and endless proofreadings.However, as we mapped across the lanes of Delhi, the life in the city got dissolved in the cartography. All maps lie and depict intangible borders. Each story of partition I came across made me ponder the statelessness of dispossessed people.

As the project ended, all that I was left with was a question: Can maps tell stories?
